Our Mission

Our Mission

The Belvedere Improvement Association believes that four major attributes–sociability, activity, comfort, and access–help define livable communities. It also believes that healthy and vibrant communities serve all age groups and value all populations. The BIA is committed to making these precepts a reality in our community. The organizing principle of the BIA is that those that are most impacted by a decision should have the most say in the outcome. We advocate on behalf of all neighbors in each area of our neighborhood to ensure equitable representation and build community power.

Our Vision

Belvedere is a neighborhood that supports, nurtures, and thrives due to the quality of its environs and the strength of the bonds between neighbors. Through community, we preserve and protect the character of our built environment, the beauty of our natural surroundings, and the strength of our social connections. We encourage and support neighbors who volunteer their time and energies towards improving and protecting the places they call home and advocate with local and state government on the community's behalf.
